Swept across my body, the sun goes spilling through.
The loneliness can't follow where the light collides with you.
And what trails into my memory, makes messes in my mind,
Creates such scenic tragedies that quickly fall behind.

So take me back in tatters or throw me out with smiles,
So the tingling of laughter breaks the distance and the miles.
And breathe into my body like poetry through air,
Moving with a silence through the darkness that is there.

Blessing me with hope and changing me with time,
Nothing works my heartbeat like the company of rhyme.
And nothing means forgiveness like the softness of your touch.
The waiting now in trembles is calling out too much.

While the scattered voices beckon like the morning on my skin.
Meeting with the patterns that the passion paints within.
And fading into quiet, we are perfect in this light,
Falling out like blessings on a moment that is right.
